Clutch Masters 92-97 Lexus SC300 3.0L 850 Series Race Clutch Kit w/Aluminum Flywheel

The Clutch Masters FX850 is an 8.5" (216mm) Twin Disc clutch, designed for high horsepower applications with smaller bell-housings. It offers increased clamping power, higher holding capacity, less clutch chatter, and smoother engagement. The kit includes an aluminum cover assembly with an attached diaphragm, pressure plate ring, two discs, one mid plate, a billet aluminum flywheel, release bearing, pilot bearing (when applicable), and pressure plate bolts. The cover assembly is machined from billet aluminum and is Type 3 hard anodized, offering superior tensile strength and minimal flex compared to cast units. The 850 Twin Disc can be upgraded to the DLX series for inherently dampened discs, providing drivetrain shock protection for both daily driven high-horsepower cars and race cars. A unique feature is the QR System (Quick Release Pressure Plate), which incorporates three spring-loaded bolts for even and smooth engagement/disengagement, reducing internal clutch noise by up to 50%. The aluminum flywheels are machined from billet 6061-T6 aluminum to meet SFI spec 1.2 and are Type 3 hard coat anodized, including a replaceable insert.
