Clutch Masters 93-95 Mazda RX-7 1.3L T FX400 Clutch Kit 6-Puck

The Clutch Masters FX400 Single Clutch Kit is designed for extreme duty street, road racing, and drag racing applications. It utilizes the Power Plus I Pressure Plate and a custom, highly durable Sprung Ceramic disc. It's available in either a 6-puck (more aggressive) or 8-puck (less aggressive) ceramic configuration. The sprung hub design provides moderate dampening for high-torque applications, making it more street-friendly than solid designs. The FX400/HDCL features a ceramic full disc design that provides quick and rapid engagement with minimal chatter due to a marcel cushion between the disc linings, making it suitable for street-driven vehicles. The FX400/HDC6 features a ceramic paddle design that offers quick and rapid engagement, but may cause clutch chatter, which might not be ideal for everyday street driving. Due to its solid (no Marcel) friction rivet design, it engages very quickly and may chatter slightly in first and reverse gears. It uses premium ceramic friction material. Ceramic-based clutch discs are designed to increase holding capacity and durability, not necessarily life expectancy. Using ceramic-based materials for easy street driving may reduce the clutch kit's life due to harsh engagement and a higher tendency to slip. Ceramic discs are not recommended for stock or near-stock vehicle applications. Includes: Disc, Pressure plate, Throwout bearing, Pilot bearing (when applicable), and Alignment tool.
