The Clutch Masters FX725 is a 7.25" (184mm) Twin Disc clutch system. It is designed for optimal performance in drag racing but can handle occasional street driving due to advancements in friction material. The system is built to sustain high horsepower and torque while maintaining manageable pedal pressure on the track. The cover assembly is machined from billet aluminum, then Type 3 hard anodized, offering approximately 25% more tensile strength than cast units, which minimizes flex during operation. The system incorporates a QR (Quick Release) system with three spring-loaded bolts, ensuring even and smooth engagement/disengagement and reducing internal clutch noise by up to 50%. The steel flywheels are machined from 1045 billet cores and black oxide treated for rust prevention.
