Clutch Masters Heavy Duty Sprung Hub for Custom DCT Flywheel Applications

The Clutch Masters DCT Dampened Hub is engineered for custom Dual-Clutch Transmission (DCT) flywheel applications, primarily targeting BMW DCT platforms. This sprung hub is designed to absorb vibrations and pulses from the engine, providing a smoother and more reliable driving experience. It forms the basis for Clutch Masters' DCT flywheel builds and has been rigorously tested on both street and track, accommodating both factory-powered and extensively modified engines. The design aims to eliminate the complex dual-mass flywheel (DMF) system, replacing it with a simpler, more reliable single-mass design that incorporates heavy-duty springs for dampening. This approach increases clamping power without necessarily increasing pedal pressure due to Clutch Masters' Hi-Leverage™ technique. The hub accepts stock or upgraded DCT clutches and is manufactured in the USA. While primarily for custom applications, it is integrated into Clutch Masters' vehicle-specific flywheel assemblies for models such as the BMW E82 135i, E9X 335i, F8X M3/M4, and E89 Z4 35i with DCT transmissions.
