Clutch Masters Rebuild Kit For (clm08913-TD7R-S)

The Clutch Masters FX725 is a 7.25" (184mm) Twin Disc clutch, designed for drag racing in engines/transmissions with smaller bell-housings. It's developed from decades of drag racing experience, offering minimal rotational mass. While not ideal for the street, improvements in friction material allow for occasional street driving. The FX725 is built to handle tremendous horsepower and torque with reasonable pedal pressure. The cover assembly is machined from billet aluminum and Type 3 hard anodized, offering approximately 25% more tensile strength than cast units. This billet construction minimizes flex in the cover (down to 0.003" compared to 0.030" in cast/stamped units), leading to more consistent and confident clutch operation. This also results in greater clamping force, ensuring efficient power transfer.
