Overview

The Clutch Masters FX400 Clutch Kit features a Power Plus I, Hi-Leverage, Heavy-Duty Pressure Plate and a custom, durable, Sprung Ceramic disc. It's an extreme-duty system for street, road, or drag racing. Available in 6 or 8 ceramic puck configurations, the 6-puck is more aggressive. The sprung hub provides moderate dampening for high-torque applications. This disc is designed for longevity, high holding capacity, and rapid heat dissipation. The FX400/HDC6 (6-Puck) ceramic paddle design results in quick, rapid engagement and potential clutch chatter, which may not be ideal for all street applications. The solid (no Marcel) friction rivet design leads to quick engagement and slight chatter in first and reverse. It's not intended to increase clutch life expectancy but rather to boost holding capacity and durability. Ceramic-based clutch discs are not recommended for stock or near-stock vehicle applications.

This is the ultimate extreme duty street and/or road/drag racing system. It is available in a 6 or 8 ceramic puck configuration. The 6-puck being the more aggressive setup and 8-puck being the less aggressive. The sprung hub design allows for moderate dampening in high-torque applications, rendering it much more street friendly than solid or rigid designs. This disc is designed for long life, outstanding holding capacity, and rapid heat dissipation.

The FX400/HDCL (8-puck) ceramic full face disc design creates a quick and rapid engagement and maintains minimal chatter due to the marcel cushion between the disc linings. This disc is designed for street driven vehicles.
