It replaces the stock plastic OEM quadrant with a heavy-duty cable and billet aluminum quadrant. The firewall adjuster allows for easy adjustment without needing to get under the vehicle.

This BBK Performance Heavy Duty Adjustable Clutch Cable and CNC machined billet aluminum double hook quadrant kit is designed to eliminate missed shifts and hard-to-find reverse gears for your 1996-2004 Mustang GT and Cobra. It offers a wide range of clutch engagement adjustability and greater durability compared to original factory equipment, addressing the weakness of stock plastic quadrants that can break, especially with aftermarket clutches requiring more pedal pressure. The kit features a heavy-duty, OEM-style adjustable cable and a billet aluminum quadrant constructed from durable materials. The cable has a housing length of 60 inches and a total cable length of 72 inches, with the bracket installed at 28 inches. The threaded cable nut and locking nut are M8-1.25 size. Installation is straightforward, requiring no special tools and typically taking about an hour. BBK Performance states they will not be held responsible for any consequential or incidental damages incurred during product installation, nor for any labor charges on products that are defective, do not fit, are damaged, or were ordered/shipped incorrectly. All BBK products are covered by a one-year warranty from the date of original purchase against defects in materials or craftsmanship, provided the product was installed and used according to BBK guidelines and not for racing or competition purposes. A copy of the original dated purchase receipt is required for warranty claims.
