Clutch Retro Flywheel

The RV6 Performance RV6-15T-RETRO Clutch Retro Flywheel is engineered to upgrade your 1.5T Si or any other 1.5T manual-equipped vehicle by enabling the use of a 2017+ Civic Type R (FK8) clutch disc and pressure plate. This allows you to leverage the superior torque capacity of FK8 clutches, which can hold over 400 ft-lb, and access a wide range of aftermarket FK8 clutch and pressure plate options for enhanced performance. Constructed from high-strength forged chromoly, this flywheel is 42% lighter than the factory original, with an actual weight of 20.5 lbs. This reduction in weight aids in a smoother, more responsive driving experience while preventing common issues associated with overly light flywheels, such as ECU misfire detection, engine stalling, rough idling at low RPMs, and difficulty launching. The primary goal of this setup is to increase power holding capability without compromising comfort or drivability. The package includes the Retro Flywheel, a Pivot Bolt Spacer (crucial for proper installation), a pre-installed Pilot Bushing, and eight M12 x 1.0 x 32.5mm OHL Flywheel Bolts. The flywheel is fully machined and balanced for optimal performance. It is designed to fit 10th Gen Honda Civic, 10th Gen Honda Civic Si, 10th Gen Honda Accord, and 11th Gen Honda Civic models equipped with a 1.5T manual transmission.
