The Overtake Clutch Delay Valve Delete is a performance upgrade designed to eliminate the factory-installed clutch delay valve found in Subaru manual performance models since 2006. This OEM valve, intended to add forgiveness for rapid clutch pedal release, unfortunately blurs the engagement point, leading to frustrating and unpredictable starts from a standstill. By replacing the factory valve assembly and spring with the Overtake Clutch Delay Valve Delete, drivers gain consistent and predictable clutch engagement. This restored 1:1 control over the clutch provides a more direct connection to the drivetrain, significantly enhancing the driving experience. Beyond improved control, this delete kit can also contribute to longer clutch life by reducing unnecessary clutch slippage that leads to premature wear and failure. Constructed from a billet 6061-T6 aluminum body with a durable black anodized finish, this delete kit is built for longevity. It includes an oil-resistant Buna-N O-ring to ensure leak-free operation. Installation is straightforward and typically takes around 30 minutes. This Overtake Clutch Delay Valve Delete is specifically designed for the 2006-2026 Subaru WRX and the 2006-2021 Subaru STI.
