This unit utilizes an Eaton-style clutch design, incorporating cup-style springs and heavy-duty clutches to deliver both smooth engagement and aggressive traction. The carrier case is forged from high-strength steel, ensuring durability and reliability for a wide range of driving conditions. Key specifications include a 31-spline carrier, a 29-spline pinion, and a standard ring gear rotation, with a 12-bolt pattern for both the cover and the ring gear.
