The Factory POSI-C9.25-RA is a limited-slip positraction differential unit engineered for Chrysler 9.25-inch axles. This unit utilizes an Eaton-style clutch design, incorporating cup-style springs and heavy-duty clutches to deliver both smooth engagement and aggressive traction. The carrier case is forged from high-strength steel, ensuring durability and reliability for a wide range of driving conditions. It is an ideal choice for various applications, including daily driving, recreational use, towing, basic off-road excursions, and street/strip performance. Key specifications include a 31-spline carrier, a 29-spline pinion, and a standard ring gear rotation, with a 12-bolt pattern for both the cover and the ring gear. The package includes one limited-slip positraction carrier. For optimal performance and longevity, the use of non-synthetic GL-5 gear oil and a friction modifier is recommended. This unit is compatible with a broad spectrum of vehicles, including Chrysler Imperial (1974-1981), Chrysler Aspen (2006-2009), Chrysler New Yorker (1970-1982), various Dodge Ram and Van models from the 1970s through 2010s, Mitsubishi Raider (2006-2009), and several Plymouth models like the Road Runner and Fury.
