The Chrysler 904 (A904) transmission was widely used in various Chrysler, Dodge, and Plymouth models from 1960 to 1978, paired with 170, 198, and 225 six-cylinder engines, as well as 273, 318, and 360 (two-barrel) V-8 engines. Variants like the A909 (lock-up) were found in 1994-2002 Jeep Wrangler (four-cylinder models), and the 30RH (computerized) in 1984-1996 Jeep XJ Cherokees. The bellhousing bolt pattern for all 904 variants remains consistent.
