The Lokar Floor Mount Shifter is compatible with Ford AODE/4R70W automatic transmissions. This shifter mounts directly to the vehicle's floor and uses a solid linkage to connect to the transmission lever, making it ideal for custom installations where an existing hole in the floor or console is being utilized. It does not require transmission removal for installation. The kit includes necessary mounting hardware, a neutral safety switch, and detailed installation instructions, allowing for customization with various shifter lever and knob combinations. Safety features include a positive lock-out mechanism in Park and Neutral and a properly wired neutral safety switch to prevent starting in gear.
