CMC Upgrade Cylinder

The K-Tuned 02+ LHD CMC Upgrade Cylinder Only is designed to resolve issues found in the factory clutch master cylinders (CMC) of various Honda and Acura vehicles, including the 2002-2006 Acura RSX DC5, 2002-2005 Honda Civic Si EP3, 2006-2011 Honda Civic Si FG2/FA5, 2012-2015 Honda Civic Si, and 2004-2008 Acura TSX. While suitable for daily driving, this delay can negatively impact performance driving by not opening fast enough for quick shifts, potentially causing wear on synchros and gears. This K-Tuned CMC is engineered as a direct replacement for the original cylinder, completely eliminating the factory's delayed engagement mechanism. It provides real-time clutch engagement, which is crucial for supporting faster shifting. Installation is described as straightforward, involving the mounting of the new cylinder and a proper bleeding of the clutch system with fresh fluid. It is recommended to ensure the vehicle's slave cylinder is leak-free prior to installation. It is important to note that this product is specifically for LHD (Left-Hand Drive) vehicles only and does not fit RHD (Right-Hand Drive) configurations. This package includes only the master cylinder itself, which features a 3AN fitting. Buyers will need to acquire an aftermarket clutch line that connects to this master cylinder using a 3AN Female Hose End Fitting, such as the KTD-CLK-001. A replacement seal for the 3AN fittings, Honda Part# 46943-S5A-003, is also mentioned. The 2012-2015 Honda Civic Si models will require switching the clevis for proper fitment.
