This kit integrates advanced brake technology to significantly reduce brake fade and ensure continuous cooling of the brake pads. The lightweight, one-piece caliper is CNC machined from aircraft-quality billet, weighing just over 5 lbs. It includes aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed-piston caliper design enhances pad grip and caliper rigidity, while stainless-steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure for a faster pedal response. The kit features a 2-piece disc assembly with an aluminum center to reduce rotational mass and improve braking response. Many applications offer a floating disc option to mitigate thermal stresses that can warp the disc. The unique slot design on the rotor minimizes braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris. Rotors are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. For daily driven vehicles, cross-drilled rotors are recommended as they tend to run cooler and offer increased bite. Slotted rotors are recommended for track use. This specific kit fits the Subaru Legacy B4 models from 2000-2004, provided they are equipped with the OEM Brembo brake package. The kit includes 356mm drilled rotors, 4-piston calipers, and is available in orange as standard, with over 20,000 custom color options. Ksport offers a standard 12-month warranty covering manufacturer defects.
