The Nitrous Holeshot 3800 stall converter is designed for vehicles with engine modifications (e.g., big cams) that reduce low-end power. Its higher stall speed launches the car in a higher RPM range for quicker acceleration. Features include a furnace brazed impeller and turbine, a new precision steel alloy pump drive tube, heavy-duty needle bearings, a new turbine hub, new stator springs/rollers, and anti-balloon plates. Anti-balloon plates enable the converter to withstand the instant horsepower from nitrous systems. These are high-performance converters for street cars. B&M recommends adding a transmission cooler. Not for trans-brake applications.
