Carefree of Colorado's patent-pending FLXguard is a new, proprietary polymer designed to have the flexibility of fabric but the toughness of metal. This universal replacement canopy is a 1-piece fabric, meaning the valance and main canopy section is one single piece of fabric. It is designed for easier installation compared to competitors, with 2 poly cords sewn in and 1 poly cord included un-installed, along with a Spline Tool. It fits Carefree of Colorado, Dometic (A&E Systems), and Solera (Lippert Components) standard patio awning systems with a 15-foot arm-to-arm measurement and an 8-foot extension. The actual fabric measures 14 feet 2 inches in length.
