Carefree of Colorado has been manufacturing RV Awnings since 1971, offering a complete line to fit various RV types including Motor Homes, Travel Trailers, Folding Camping Trailers, and Truck Campers. Their awnings are designed with quality, value, performance, and style in mind. Available in Electric (12v or 110v) with push-button operation or Manual (crank or pull-out options). Electric awnings can feature optional Direct Response Electronics that automatically retract the awning when excessive motion is detected. Optional remote controls are also available. Awnings are available in widths from 8’ to 25’ and extension heights commonly 8’, with some up to 10’. Some awnings offer a dual pitch option or an easy-to-use adjustable pitch to block sun at different times of the day. Hardware colors include black, white, or satin (select awnings). Over 100 different fabric colors and various patterns (Dune Stripes, Shale Fades, Denim Stripes) are available, with materials including Vinyl, Polyweave Vinyl, Premium Vinyl, and Acrylic. Three distinct Weatherguards are offered (Uniguard, Alumaguard, FLXguard) to protect the fabric from sun and elements when rolled up.
