Lokar Floor Mount Shifters offer superior craftsmanship, design, and safety features for automatic transmissions. Designed for hot rods, street rods, trucks, muscle cars, or off-road vehicles, safety is a primary consideration. These shifters mount directly to the floor, utilizing a solid linkage to connect to the transmission lever. This design is particularly useful for existing floor openings or for creating custom mounting locations. Installation does not require transmission removal, typically only needing four holes drilled for mounting and a slot for the Quad Shift Lever. The kit includes all necessary mounting hardware, a neutral safety switch, and detailed instructions. Customers can choose their preferred shifter lever (straight, single bend, double bend, or bench bend in lengths from 4'' to 32'', available in black Cerakote or chrome plated finishes) and knob combination (push-button or adapter for traditional/vintage knobs). Safety features include a positive lock-out mechanism in Park and Neutral, and a neutral safety switch to prevent starting in gear.
