The Lokar Electronic Sport Mode Shifter is designed for electronically controlled transmissions, including the GM 4L60E. This cable-operated, floor-mounted shifter allows for automatic or electronic tap shifting (where supported) without the need for an OE-style or paddle shifter. It features a precision-machined billet aluminum housing and includes a heavy-duty shifter cable. The design offers flexibility in mounting locations, accommodating various custom setups. It requires only four mounting holes and a cable pass-through hole for installation. Lokar ESS2 shifters are made in the USA and come with a lifetime warranty. They feature an integrated neutral safety switch and a positive lock-out button to prevent accidental shifting into reverse. Shifters are configurable with various lever lengths (4" to 16") and knob designs (polished, brushed, or black finishes). The 4' long control cable is Teflon-lined stainless steel with a durable nylon coating. The shifter is also compatible with most factory transmission controllers that are manual mode capable, as well as aftermarket controllers from brands like Speartech, US Shift, TCI, and Holley.
