It is constructed from non-machined castings of grey cast iron, stabilized with other ingredients for durability and machining. The unique Zimmermann compound is matched to each vehicle's factory specifications, incorporating materials like copper, molybdenum, titanium, and carbon for optimal performance. Featuring Zimmermann's Coat Z anti-corrosion protection, first offered in 2008, this rotor prevents rust at the hub, ensuring greater longevity and maintaining an improved lifetime appearance. The Coat Z coating allows the rotors to be mounted directly out of the box without the need to remove the protective layer. This product meets OE specifications for quality and thermo-mechanical deformation, providing reliable performance for everyday driving and sportier applications. Each rotor is sold individually, and vehicles typically require two per car for the front axle. The rotors measure 340mm in diameter and 30mm in thickness and are internally vented.
