The Cobalt stainless steel cat-back exhaust is a performance system featuring dual tips for 1990-1997 Mazda MX-5 Miata vehicles. It is constructed from 1.2mm thick polished stainless steel with a mirror finish and utilizes a combined stainless steel wool and fiberglass packing to provide a sporty exhaust note.

The system is built from 1.2mm thick stainless steel, applied to the muffler shell, piping, and 3-1/2 inch slash-cut tips. Each unit is polished to a mirror shine, with all welds ground smooth for a clean, professional finish. Technically, the system utilizes 2-1/4 inch diameter piping and CNC-cut stainless steel flanges for a precise fit. The internal core and perforated tubing are also crafted from stainless steel. To ensure a refined sound, the muffler uses a hybrid packing of stainless steel wool and fiberglass, delivering a sporty tone that remains non-intrusive. Compatibility Note: If you are installing this system on a 1990-1995 (OBD 1) model, you are required to purchase an O-2 sensor bung plug (Part # 051-012) for proper integration. The product is backed by a 5-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, provided the defect is not caused by physical impact.
