COBB ECU Tuner

The factory shifter utilizes a soft rubber isolator that contributes to fore/aft play, reducing driver confidence and precision. This COBB upgrade replaces the OEM component with a robust aluminum carrier that precisely houses a low-wear, low-friction IGUS polymer bearing. Constructed with an aluminum carrier and an IGUS polymer bearing, this bushing system effectively removes the slop associated with the factory rubber isolator. This direct replacement retains the OEM shift cable for a straightforward installation and ensures improved drivetrain response. The use of IGUS polymer guarantees durability and smooth operation over time. This shifter bushing is designed as a direct fit for 2015-2022 Subaru WRX models. It is noted to also fit 2007-2017 Jeep Wrangler models, though this application is outside the primary fitment for the COBB part number 244300. The product is not an emissions-related part and can be used on emission-controlled vehicles.
