The Ford Performance 2000 Cobra R Front Big Brake Kit is engineered to deliver stellar stopping power and improved control for your Mustang, making it ideal for street applications. This comprehensive kit includes everything needed to upgrade your braking system, featuring lightweight, black powder-coated 4-piston Brembo calipers crafted from aluminum. This kit utilizes cadmium-plated, vented, and slotted 13-inch rotors to ensure reliable performance and the ability to stop your vehicle on a dime. Braided, DOT-approved stainless steel brake lines are included for durability and compliance. Installation is rated as medium difficulty and is estimated to take approximately 2 hours, potentially requiring a professional installer due to the skill level involved. This kit is designed as a direct fit for all 1994-2004 Ford Mustang models, specifically for the front application. However, owners of 1994-1995 GT models will need to upgrade to a 1994 Cobra master cylinder for proper fitment. Additionally, this kit requires 17-inch or larger wheels with at least 50mm of clearance from the spokes. It has been noted that this kit will not fit certain Bullitt wheels and 17-inch FR500 wheels, but will fit 17x9 and 18x9 Cobra R wheels and 18-inch FR500 wheels. All other wheel fitments should be tested using the recommended clearance method.
