COIL

The Standard Ignition UF-551 is a Coil on Plug ignition coil designed to ensure proper OE fit, form, and function. It features 100% pure copper windings for improved durability and higher resistance to internal shorts. The thermoplastic housing withstands heat stress, and the internal core is made from grain-oriented electrical steel to limit heat and reduce coil endurance reduction. A Samarium-Cobalt (SmCo) magnet provides maximum high voltage output at all speeds, while tin-plated brass terminals enhance electrical contact and corrosion resistance. High-dielectric epoxy is injected to eliminate air pockets, prevent moisture intrusion, and avoid thermal breakdown.
