The KONI 1150 5080-1 Threaded Suspension Kit is engineered to enhance the performance and adjustability of your Audi or Volkswagen. Developed by KONI's high-performance division in Germany, this kit combines Koni Sport shock adjustable valving with progressive rate lowering springs. The kit offers significant customization with threaded, adjustable lower spring perches, allowing for precise control over ride height and future adjustments. The owner-adjustable rebound valving on each shock and strut enables fine-tuning of damping force to suit various driving needs, from a comfortable touring setup to a stiffer performance tune. The kit includes four springs, four adjustable shocks, and two lower rear spring perches. For height adjustment, shocks must be removed from the vehicle. This suspension kit is designed for a wide range of Volkswagen Golf, GTI, Jetta, Rabbit, and Audi A3 models, primarily from 2005 to 2014. It is specifically noted for FWD applications and can accommodate 4- and 6-cylinder engines, with some models allowing for a lowering of up to 40mm.
