Coil-Over Suspension Package

The Rod and Custom Motorsports RC-107-6 is an adjustable ride height coil-over suspension package engineered for 1970-1977 Ford Maverick and Mustang II models. At Rod & Custom, design integrity is paramount, utilizing Autodesk CAD programs and FEA for robust and safe engineering. The package includes a new crossmember with adjustable upper coil-over mounts and engine mount stands, a 4-piece tubular A-arm set, and choice of steel MII spindles for stock height or a 2" drop. A complete 11" single piston OE brake kit with stainless flex lines is standard, with upgrades available. A manual rack and pinion with bushings and tie rod ends is also included, with a power rack option available. Engine mount sets for small block (Ford or Chevy) 351W, 351C, 429-460, or FE (390, 427, 428) engines are provided. The kit also features a 1" powder-coated sway bar with Prothane urethane bushings, left and right tower replacement panels, and a comprehensive steering hookup kit. QA1 adjustable coilover shocks and springs with grade 8 hardware are included, offering full adjustability for ride and height. Installation requires the use of a rear/double sump car-style oil pan for all MII suspension designs due to the front-steer configuration. The kit includes detailed instructions and offers preferential customer technical assistance. Brake kit options are available, and it should be noted that Wilwood brake kits purchased separately will not match the discounted cost offered when deleting standard brakes within this suspension kit. Additionally, certain Wilwood brake kits are not compatible with Wilwood Pro spindles, specifically the 10.75" Dynapro Lug Mount Front Dynamic Drag Brake Kit (140-14416), the 10.00" Dynapro Single Front Drag Brake Kit (140-1012-D), and the 10.75" Forged Dynalite Front Drag Brake Kit (140-1013-BD). The standard OE brake kit is compatible with Wilwood Pro Spindle brake kits.
