Suspension is a critical factor in vehicle drivability, and upgrading stock springs is the first step in tuning. Crafted from high-strength spring steel in Germany, H&R springs ensure first-class quality and performance. The springs feature a linear or progressive spring design and are delivered with ABE or TUV approval. These springs are compatible with BMW 1 Series models (E81, E82, E87, E88) and 3 Series models (E90, E92) from 2004 to 2011, specifically for RWD drivetrains. They provide a lowering of approximately 60mm at the front and 40mm at the rear. Note that vehicles already equipped with M-Technic, MB-Sportsline, or similar factory-lowered suspensions will exhibit less noticeable lowering. H&R leverages technology developed for competition use, including Formula 1, touring car, and GT racing series, to create innovative suspension components for street-driven cars. This extensive involvement in motorsport allows for the testing of new materials and production technologies, ensuring adaptation to changing road conditions.
