Dobinsons Leaf Springs are engineered to provide superior ride quality, durability, and load-handling capabilities for a variety of vehicles, including 4x4s, trucks, and commercial applications. With over 60 years of manufacturing experience, Dobinsons custom-designs its leaf springs to meet specific load and height requirements, ensuring optimal performance for both on-road comfort and off-road resilience. Constructed from premium SUP9 silicon manganese spring steel, these leaf springs are built for long-lasting performance. The manufacturing process is ISO9001:2008-certified and includes features like tapered, thinned leaf ends for balanced stress distribution, shot-peening and 'scragging' to prevent sagging and extend service life, and anti-friction inter-leaf liners for smoother, quieter operation. Military-wrapped eyes are incorporated for added strength and safety, while high-strength alignment clips with nylon insulators and Nyloc nuts minimize wear and noise. These rear leaf springs are designed with a 300 kg constant load capacity. While greasable bush kits, greasable pins, and u-bolts are available separately, the springs themselves do not come with bushings. The TOY-201-R is specifically designed for the Toyota LandCruiser 70 Series (1999 on), providing an approximate 4-inch lift.
