Description

The QuickCar Racing Products 40-487 is a 48-inch black coil wire designed for HEI/Socket style ignition systems. It features a spiral core with under 40 ohm/ft resistance for quick spark energy transfer and high EMI/RFI suppression.

Constructed with two layers of silicone, a Kevlar core, and a nickel-copper alloy wound conductor, this wire offers flexibility, high-tensile strength, and improved engine performance. The silicone-impregnated fiberglass braid sleeve provides over 1400°F heat resistance and 24,000 volts of insulation. High-temperature silicone boots protect terminals up to 600°F, and posi-snap lock stainless steel spring clips ensure a vibration-free connection.
