Coilover Conversion Kit Level 1

The Aldan American Coilover Conversion Kit, SKU A0175, is a Level 1 system engineered to upgrade the front suspension of 1963-1970 Chevrolet C10 trucks and SUVs. This comprehensive kit replaces the factory crossmember with fully adjustable coilovers and performance control arms, aiming to provide the ultimate improvement in handling, stance, and ride quality for classic pickups. Each kit includes SPC adjustable upper control arms, which offer significant camber and caster tuning capabilities for a modern performance feel, featuring taller ball studs to improve the camber curve and premium, greaseable, and rebuildable ball joints. Complementing these are POL lower tubular control arms with improved geometry for enhanced caster, designed with a dedicated lower bridge-mount specifically for the coilovers. These lower arms are finished in a durable black powder coat and come with installed cross shafts and lower ball joints for easier installation. Buyers can select between Aldan American's Phantom Series Single Adjustable coilovers, offering 11 positions of rebound adjustment, or the SS Series Double Adjustable coilovers, providing 66 positions for maximum tunability. The coilovers are paired with Aldan American cold-wound linear coilsprings, available in 650 lb/in rates for small block or LS motors, and 750 lb/in rates for big block applications. All Aldan American coilovers are ride-height adjustable, allowing for a 0"-2.0" drop. It is important to note that this kit is not for use with factory sway bars; an Aldan Sway Bar Kit (Part# A0133) is recommended as an alternative.
