SF Racing Air Struts for the 2011-2019 Ford Explorer (U502) are engineered for enthusiasts who demand premium ride quality, aggressive stance, and full adjustability. Whether you're looking to achieve a slammed stance for a car meet or raise the vehicle for a smooth ride home, SF Air Suspension delivers the flexibility and performance you need. Each kit features a monotube damper design with 32-level adjustable damping for fine-tuning rebound and compression. The adjustable ride height allows for a drop of 1-3 inches below factory height on average, though factory ride height cannot typically be achieved. Construction includes T6-6061 aluminum for top mounts, perches, and collars, an electroplated shock body for rust protection, and low-friction, pressure-resistant housing for longevity. SAE9254 Japanese cold-wound springs ensure durable and consistent performance, complemented by Japanese NOK seals and Italian IP damping oil. These air struts are a 100% bolt-on replacement, requiring no modifications unless otherwise stated. The front suspension features a true coilover design with aluminum top mounts and rubber bushings, while the rear uses a divorced (separate shock and spring) design. It is important to note that these coilovers do NOT interface with OEM electronic damping control systems. Additional parts may be required to remove error codes if the original suspension includes electronic features. SF Racing products come with a 1-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects from the date of manufacture. Please be aware that all SF Racing suspension is hand-built to order, and handling times are estimates. Air management systems are not included and must be purchased separately.
