The SF Racing Track Coilovers for the 2000-2003 Honda S2000 (AP1) are designed for enthusiasts seeking ultimate track performance and street versatility. Featuring a monotube damper design for improved heat dissipation and reduced oil leakage, these coilovers deliver superior handling and responsiveness. Each corner offers 32 levels of adjustable damping, allowing for precise tuning of rebound and compression via a single knob. The ride height is adjustable, lowering the vehicle by 1-2.5 inches below factory height without compromising suspension travel. They utilize independent lower mount adjustment to maintain shock and spring integrity during height changes. The construction includes T6-6061 aluminum for top mounts, perches, and collars, providing a lightweight and corrosion-resistant anodized finish, while the electroplated shock body offers rust protection. These coilovers come standard with aluminum top mounts featuring reinforced rubber bushings to minimize noise and enhance durability, with an option for pillowball bushings to further increase steering response. The SAE9254 Japanese cold-wound springs ensure durable and consistent performance, complemented by Japanese NOK seals and 20W Italian IP damping oil to prevent leaks and maintain optimal damping. Integrated dust boots and bump stops protect the components from debris and wear, ensuring longevity. The system is designed as a 100% bolt-on replacement, requiring no modifications unless otherwise specified. It is important to note that all SF Racing suspension is hand-built to order, and handling times are estimates. SF Racing coilovers DO NOT interface with OEM electronic damping control systems; additional parts may be necessary to remove error codes if the OEM suspension includes electronic damping.
