Coilover System

These systems offer 36 levels of adjustable damping, allowing drivers to precisely tune their ride for optimal handling and comfort. The damping adjustment affects both compression and rebound simultaneously, simplifying the tuning process. Key construction features include an inverted shock design on most applications, adjustable spring perches, and adjustable lower mounts that enable height adjustments without compromising suspension travel. Pillow-ball top mounts are utilized in the front and rear (on applicable models) to help maintain OEM suspension geometry while providing a more direct feel and solid driver response. For further customization, camber adjustability is integrated into the pillow ball top mounts where available, eliminating the need for a separate camber kit. Materials used in the construction include lightweight and durable 6061 billet aluminum for mounts and many components, ensuring resistance to rust and the elements. The steel shock body features a zinc electroplated finish for added corrosion protection. Ksport matches the internal valving to the specific springs used in each kit, aiming for unmatched ride quality and long-term reliability. The coilovers utilize a Monotube design, which separates oil and gas within the cylinder. This design inherently dissipates heat more effectively, allows for finer damping adjustments, and is less prone to aeration and cavitation, resulting in a superior ride experience compared to traditional twin-tube designs.
