The RS-R Sports-i Coilovers are engineered as a hand-assembled monotube damper system, aiming to elevate both ride quality and performance for your vehicle. Each set is meticulously put together with vehicle-specific valving and laser-cut upper mounts, along with hand-welded lower brackets, to ensure a high level of craftsmanship and detail. These coilovers incorporate advanced technology for a superior driving experience. Urethane bushings are utilized over traditional bearings to dampen everyday driving vibrations and minimize suspension-related noises. For MacPherson strut suspensions, RS-R integrates silent roller bearings to counteract spring twisting that can occur with steering input, thereby reducing associated noise. Comfort and adjustability are key features, with rubber padding integrated to further eliminate potential noise from suspension movements. The damper adjustment dials offer up to 36 levels of tuning for compression and rebound, allowing drivers to precisely tailor the suspension to their specific needs and driving conditions. Additionally, on select vehicles, the upper mounts can provide an approximate 1.5-degree camber adjustment by rotating the plate, with adjustable camber plates available for more precise tuning on certain models. This specific kit, part number XBIF513M, is designed for the 2012-2017 Subaru Impreza XV (GP7) and 2013-2017 Subaru Crosstrek. It offers a preset height adjustment range of +10mm to +5mm at both the front and rear. The maximum adjustment ranges are +70mm to -90mm for the front and +65mm to -55mm for the rear. Recommended adjustments for optimal rideability are +40mm to -25mm front and rear. The spring rates are 6.00kg/mm for the front and 5.00kg/mm for the rear.
