Coilover System

The Black-I series coilovers have been meticulously engineered with specific valving, spring preload, and spring rates to ensure optimal performance even at their lowest settings. Constructed with RS-R's hand-assembled monotube dampers, these coilovers focus on enhancing ride quality, performance, and overall comfort. Key components include laser-cut upper mounts, hand-welded lower brackets, and vehicle-specific valving, all assembled by hand to guarantee exceptional quality and attention to detail. The use of urethane bushings instead of bearings helps to reduce everyday driving vibrations and minimize noise from suspension movements. For MacPherson suspension types, roller bearings are incorporated to eliminate spring twist noise that can occur during steering rotation. Rubber padding is also utilized to further reduce potential noise from suspension movements. With up to 36-way adjustable damping, the compression and rebound settings can be finely tuned to meet individual driving needs and conditions. Select vehicles also offer the option for refined camber tuning; by unbolting and rotating the upper mount 180 degrees, an additional 1.5 degrees of camber can be achieved. The spring rates for this application are 16.00kg/mm in the front and 13.50kg/mm in the rear. These coilovers are designed for the Infiniti G37 4dr RWD models from 2007 to 2015.
