Description

The CTS Turbo Coilpack Adapter Set provides a direct-fit solution for Audi 2.7T 30V engines, enabling the use of more modern and reliable VW/Audi 2.0T FSI and TSI coilpacks. Crafted from billet aluminum, these adapters bolt directly to the factory valve covers, facilitating a significant upgrade to your ignition system. By upgrading to newer technology coilpacks, users can benefit from a stronger spark output, allowing for a larger spark plug gap. This upgrade has been shown to enhance reliability, promote a smoother idle, and increase power output, particularly in off-boost conditions. In some instances, improved fuel economy has also been reported. Installation requires an adapter harness (sold separately, such as the IE adapter harness IEDIYVD2) and allows for the removal of the factory ICM (Ignition Control Module) to convert the ignition system. The set is compatible with all 2.7T 30V engines. Fitment includes: Audi S4 1996-2001 (B5 – B5.5), Audi RS4 1996-2001 (B5 – B5.5), Audi A6 1998-2004 (C5), and Audi A6 Allroad 1998-2004 (C5).
