Overview

The CTS Turbo Coilpack Adapter Set is designed for the 1.8T engine. It allows for the installation of FSI or TSI coilpacks, which can improve idle, gas mileage, throttle response, and combustion. This upgrade also addresses the known issues with the failure-prone 1.8T coilpacks.

Show original supplier description

The CTS Turbo Coilpack Adapter Set is an essential upgrade for owners of the 1.8T engine looking to improve ignition performance and reliability. This adapter set facilitates the direct installation of FSI or TSI coilpacks onto your 1.8T engine. By upgrading to these more robust coilpacks, you can achieve a larger spark plug gap. This wider gap contributes to a more stable idle, better gas mileage, enhanced throttle response, and more efficient combustion, all while providing a cleaner aesthetic under the hood. Addressing the common recalls and known failure points of the original 1.8T coilpacks, this adapter set offers a proactive solution. It allows you to transition to the more reliable FSI or TSI coilpacks, ensuring greater dependability. Each set is precisely manufactured from 6061 CNC machined aluminum for durability and includes stainless steel bolts for secure mounting. This Coilpack Adapter Set is designed to work on all 1.8T engines, offering broad compatibility for enthusiasts looking to upgrade their ignition system.
