The Forge Motorsport Induction Kit is an aftermarket cold air intake system engineered to enhance the airflow for Hyundai i30N, Kona N, and Veloster N models. It utilizes a large 102 mm diameter CNC mandrel-bent alloy pipe, which is finished with a unique black thermal powder coating, to direct air more efficiently into the engine. The kit replaces the factory air filter with a high-flow, high-efficiency Pipercross filter that flows 60% more air than the stock unit, ensuring a cooler air supply. The intake diameters are carefully tuned to deliver the correct air quantity for consistent power gains across the entire rev range, without any loss of low-end torque. Installation is facilitated by Forge's detailed fitting guide. When tested on a dyno with a CAT-backed performance exhaust, a vehicle equipped with this intake achieved figures of 296 bhp and 310 lb-ft, compared to the stock vehicle's 275 bhp and 278 lb-ft. Testing with the bonnet closed and at replicated wind speeds of 70 MPH showed no significant rise in inlet pipe or intake temperatures, even after multiple hard pulls. The kit includes: 1 x Black Alloy Hard Pipe, 1 x Pipercross Filter, 1 x Valve Silicon Joiner, and 2 x Hose clamps. An optional gold heat-resistant tape is available for application to the underside of the aluminum housing to further reflect engine heat.
