Cold Air Induction Kit w/ 123mm MAF Housing

The JLT Performance CAIP-GT500-07 is a custom-designed plastic cold air induction kit engineered for the 2007-2009 Shelby GT500 Mustang. This intake system differentiates itself by integrating the MAF housing directly into the plastic tube, eliminating transitions, steps, or couplers that could disrupt airflow and ensuring a cleaner aesthetic. Featuring a 123mm ID MAF housing, this kit is suitable for stock applications and can support up to 750 RWHP with appropriate tuning devices like a MAFia, SCT BA5000, or HPX sensor. It includes a large 5x9-inch S&B Powerstack oiled air filter, known for its tapered flange and deep pleats, providing ample filtration. The kit also incorporates a larger heat shield with two mounting points and a weather strip for a proper seal against the hood. However, it is crucial to note that this JLT Performance Cold Air Intake requires a computer tune (ECU reprogramming) for proper operation. Additionally, this product is intended for closed-course competition use only and is not street legal. It is not CARB certified and therefore not legal for use in California or other states that adopt California emission standards, as its sale, use, or installation may be illegal nationwide under the Federal Clean Air Act.
