The Roto-Fab 2017-2024 ZL1 cold air intake is engineered as a direct-fit, bolt-on modification for the ZL1 Camaro, aiming to boost performance and refine the driving experience. This system features an aggressive sound profile and an enhanced appearance, making it a popular choice for enthusiasts. The design incorporates a substantial air filter within an air box that creates a seal with the hood and the fresh air duct, promoting efficient air intake. Installation is straightforward, and the system requires no tuning, making it an accessible upgrade. Roto-Fab's testing indicates a gain of 26 HP without other modifications or tuning. The intake is noted for improving throttle response, enabling quicker acceleration, and producing a louder supercharger sound under load. Its proven reliability has made Roto-Fab a leading name in cold air intakes for the ZL1 since 2012. This kit includes an oiled air filter that comes pre-oiled and ready for use, requiring 89 grams of oil for servicing. The replacement oil filter part number is 1013-5013. For vehicles exceeding 650-700 RWHP, Roto-Fab recommends their Big Gulp cold air intake system (part number 1016-1074), which does require tuning. For most applications, the standard cold air intake system provides the optimal balance of performance and drivability for the ZL1. **Important Note:** This product is not available for sale or use in California due to state regulations.
