Cold Air Intake 3.5-Inch Piping for EA888 Gen 3

The Integrated Engineering IEINCI11 is a cold air intake system engineered for VW and Audi models equipped with the EA888 Gen 3 2.0T and 1.8T engines. This system utilizes 3.5-inch intake piping and smooth 3-ply silicone couplers, paired with a large 5-inch air filter, to significantly improve airflow over the stock setup. Flow bench testing demonstrates substantial gains, showing up to a 67% increase in airflow compared to the factory intake. The design incorporates a built-in velocity stack with a motorsport-inspired bellmouth shape, which efficiently channels air from the filter to the intake piping, minimizing turbulence and maximizing power. An aluminum alloy heat shield spans the front of the vehicle to channel high-pressure air from the grill directly to the intake, effectively sealing out hot engine bay air. The system works with or without SAI (Secondary Air Injection) without requiring an extra kit. Optional lid upgrades are available in polymer or carbon fiber for enhanced engine bay aesthetics. Important fitment notes apply: This intake does not fit Audi A3 engines equipped with a MAF sensor, commonly found in FWD models. For VW Arteon models, the optional carbon fiber lid is not compatible without relocation of the washer filler neck, and an IE Turbo Inlet Pipe upgrade (sold separately) is required. Additionally, some European models may have a front-mounted crash sensor that requires modification to the heat shield for clearance.
