The Lexus F SPORT Performance Air Intake (PTR03-53141) is engineered to deliver improved engine performance by drawing in cooler, denser air from outside the engine compartment, specifically from behind and below the headlight area. This direct replacement kit swaps out the lower half of the stock air filter enclosure with a custom-designed intake. This not only contributes to a throatier exhaust note but also provides a modest increase in rear-wheel horsepower. The intake system features a polished, clear-coated aluminum tube that houses a TIG-welded, machined-aluminum F Sport logo. The F Sport-engineered assembly is fully compatible with the vehicle's stock engine controls and meets California Air Resources Board (CARB) requirements, making it emissions-legal in all 50 states. This air intake system is specifically designed to fit the 2014 Lexus IS250, the 2016-2017 Lexus IS300, and the 2014-2017 Lexus IS350 models. It is important to note that this part does not fit 2024 Lexus models. While the kit is complete, customers may need to reuse the original lower air box part from their vehicle.
