The Rotofab Cold Air Intake system is engineered specifically for 2019-2026 Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra 1500 models equipped with the 5.3L engine. Roto-fab, a recognized leader in the GM aftermarket, applies its expertise in performance and quality to this truck application, promising an enhanced driving experience. The development process involves custom fabrication, extensive road testing, and meticulous refinement to achieve an optimized design. This ensures a fit and finish comparable to a one-off custom unit, delivered with the consistency of a production system. This cold air intake system is designed to deliver significant performance gains, with dyno testing showing an increase of 14 HP and 23 FT-LB of torque at the rear wheels. Roto-fab emphasizes that these gains are achieved through real-world, apples-to-apples testing without requiring any ECU reflash or tune, as the system is optimized for the factory calibration. Users can also expect a subtle yet aggressive sound enhancement. The intake features a black elbow finish and includes a pre-oiled filter (part number 1013-5005) that requires 56 grams of oil for servicing. Maintenance is made convenient with a hinging aluminum lid secured by a single fastener, allowing for quick filter access and removal. A tinted plexiglass insert facilitates easy air filter inspection. The product includes a strong warning: "This product is not available for sale or use in California."
