Cold Air Intake

The Skunk2 Racing Cold Air Intake System is designed for the Subaru BRZ, Scion FR-S, and Toyota 86, aiming to improve performance through optimized airflow. Constructed from molded polymer plastic, it offers superior intake air insulation over aluminum, leading to significantly lower intake air temperatures and reduced heat soak. The system's Ram Air Box draws in the coldest, highest-pressure air available from in front of the radiator. Dimples on the entry surface help extend the boundary layer, increasing the effective cross-sectional flow area for higher total mass airflow. The intake tube tapers smoothly from a 96mm internal diameter down to 70mm where it connects to the throttle body. It utilizes a large 6.8” diameter washable double cone filter element for increased dust-holding capacity. The included MAF Sensor Coupler is compatible with the factory MAF sensor, enabling a direct bolt-on installation with no cutting or fabrication required. This cold air intake system is compatible with the following vehicles: 2013-2016 Scion FR-S, 2013+ Subaru BRZ, and 2017+ Toyota 86.
