The RedRock 4x4 Cold Air Intake is designed to replace your 4.0L Jeep Wrangler TJ's restrictive factory air box and paper filter with a high-flow assembly. This textured black intake promises a noticeable increase in horsepower and torque while filtering out harmful dust particles. A key benefit is that it does not require a computer re-tune, as RedRock 4x4 engineers have optimized it to work with the factory tune. Included in this kit is a high-flow, reusable conical air filter, saving you money on frequent replacements. The intake tube is constructed from aluminum and features a textured wrinkle black finish. Installation is straightforward, requiring only basic hand tools and no modifications, with all necessary parts and instructions included. The estimated installation time is approximately one hour. It is important to note that this RedRock 4x4 Cold Air Intake is NOT CARB Certified and is therefore not legal for use in California or states that adopt California emission standards. It is intended for off-road use only on pollution-controlled motor vehicles. This cold air intake is specifically designed for 1997-2006 4.0L Jeep Wrangler TJ models, including the Rubicon, Rubicon Unlimited, Wrangler, and Wrangler Unlimited variants within those model years.
