The Racing Dynamics Cold Air Intake system is engineered to enhance performance by providing a direct source of cold air to your BMW Z4's engine. This system utilizes a specially fabricated heat shield, constructed from a low thermal conductivity composite material. Its primary function is to insulate the intake air from the heat generated by the engine compartment, ensuring that only cooler, denser air enters the combustion chamber for increased power and efficiency. All necessary mounting hardware is included, allowing for installation to existing chassis locations. Instructions are also provided to guide the installation process. This cold air intake is specifically designed for the 2003-2005 BMW Z4 2.5i models equipped with the M54 motor and the E85/E86 chassis. The fitment is for the Z Series E85 (2003-2008) Z4 2.5i submodel. A California Proposition 65 warning indicates that the product may cause cancer and reproductive harm, with further information available at www.P65Warnings.ca.gov.
