Cold Air Intake Kit

The Roush Cold Air Intake Kit (ROUSH-421642) is engineered to provide true performance gains and improved throttle response for 2012-2018 Ford Focus models equipped with the 2.0L I-4 non-turbo engine. It explicitly excludes the ST trim. This open-element filter system significantly improves airflow compared to the restrictive factory paper filter. The kit includes a premium, reusable high-flow air filter that can be cleaned and re-oiled for long-term use. Roush designed this intake with a custom, ROUSH-branded airbox featuring an EPDM foam seal for an airtight fit against the hood. The airbox is constructed from durable, glass-filled nylon. A key benefit is that this kit utilizes the factory PCM calibration, meaning it does not void your factory engine warranty. It also retains the factory PCV connection on the oversized MAF tube, eliminating the need for drilling or cutting during installation. The kit comes with a standard Roush 90-Day Limited Warranty. This intake is also 50-State legal for 2012-2018 model years, bearing EO #D-418-30.
