Show original supplier description
The VR Performance Cold Air Intake Kit (VR-RAP-110) is engineered to enhance the performance of Ford F-150 Raptor and EcoBoost models equipped with 2.7L or 3.5L EcoBoost engines, specifically for the 2015-2020 model years. The design focuses on maximizing airflow efficiency, which can lead to improvements in horsepower, torque, and throttle response. Installation is straightforward, typically taking around one hour and requiring light to moderate mechanical skill. Key benefits of this VR Performance cold air intake include improved engine breathing and potentially better fuel efficiency. Unlike some performance modifications, this particular intake kit does not require a custom tune to function correctly, simplifying the installation and usage process. It's important to note that this product is intended for racing or competition use only and may not be compliant with emissions standards in certain regions, particularly California, where it may only be used on designated closed-course racing vehicles not registered for highway use. Buyers in other regions should consult local statutes to ensure compliance.
