Overview

This race-inspired intake features 3" diameter mandrel-bent aluminum tubing and positions the front air filter directly behind the front bumper grille for a consistent supply of cold air. It is optimized through dyno tuning for HP gains.

This intake is specifically designed to fit EG, EK (with EKK2 mounts), and DC2 chassis when paired with a K-Tuned Passenger Side Radiator and an RBC or RRC intake manifold. It can also be adapted for use with the factory PRB/PRC manifold. For track day use, the air filter can be removed for maximum airflow, and an open V-stack option is available for potential mph increases in drag racing applications.

The design strategically places the front air filter behind the front bumper grille to draw in ample cold air, a critical factor for engine performance. The system has undergone dyno tuning to precisely calibrate intake pipe diameter and length for significant horsepower gains. This Ram Air Intake is tailored for specific applications: it fits EG, EK (requiring EKK2 mounts), and DC2 chassis. Crucially, it necessitates the use of K-Tuned's Passenger Side Radiator and either an RBC or RRC intake manifold. K-Tuned also offers a choice between a regular filter and a velocity stack filter, with the latter potentially providing a slight mph increase in drag racing scenarios.
