The CTS Turbo Intake Kit is a cold air intake system designed for the R55/R56/R57 Mini Cooper S models. It features a CNC mandrel-bent aluminum intake pipe for smooth air entry and a high-flow cone air filter with an inverted cone design. This system aims to improve engine breathing, providing peak power gains ranging from 9-15HP and enhancing torque throughout the power band with an aggressive sound.

The CTS Turbo Air Intake Kit is engineered for the R55/R56/R57 Mini Cooper S models, offering a direct replacement for the factory intake system. The CNC mandrel-bent aluminum intake pipe, finished with a durable black powder coating, ensures smooth entry of cold air into the engine, contributing to significant power gains. Constructed with quality materials, the kit includes 4-ply silicon connectors with stainless steel clamps for a secure fit. The high-flow airbox is precision-fit and compatible with N14 and N18 engines. This intake system also includes a MAF delete adapter for MAF-less ROW cars and a PCV hose adapter, though the latter is not required for all vehicles. This air intake kit is specifically designed for Generation 2 Mini Cooper S vehicles with N16 and N18 engines. It fits the R55 Clubman S (2008-2014), R56 Hatchback S (2007-2013), R57 Convertible S (2009-2015), R58 Coupe S (2012-2015), and R59 Roadster S (2012-2015). However, it will NOT fit certain 2013+ models that have a molded PCV hose connection on the factory intake; it is crucial to consult the installation guide before ordering. For N18 engines, specific modifications are required: the PCV heater connections must be removed, and the factory harness needs resistors installed to prevent a P053A code. While CTS Turbo includes the necessary resistors, an optional Neuspeed part (NM.658800) offers a more plug-and-play solution.
